Your rights

Please note that you may not be able to use all features of the Service if you request deletion of your information or withdraw your consent.

Revoking consent and deleting your account
You may delete your Magnus account at any time using the app (“Settings → Delete Account”). When you delete your account, personally identifiable information associated with your account is deleted from our systems. Content that can be anonymized, such as photos of artworks, may be retained in a form that is no longer associated with your account and cannot be linked back to you. Such retained content may also persist in backup systems for a limited period. Please note that deleting the Magnus app from your device does not delete your account or your data.

We collect and use your information to provide our Services and to measure and improve them over time. We may process your information based on your consent, to fulfill our contractual obligations, or based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.

Your Account on Magnus
When using Magnus you have a private account. Other users cannot follow your activity, link an artwork to you, or view the locations where you took a photo.
The Service allows users to contribute and share information about artworks. Certain information in the Service, including artwork data and pricing information, may be based on user contributions and publicly available sources. Magnus aggregates and organizes information derived from user submissions, third-party sources, and publicly available materials.

Communications from Magnus
When you sign up to Magnus, you may provide an email address. If you install the Magnus app you may also give your consent to receive notifications.
You can unsubscribe from communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or through your settings. Magnus does not sell personal information. We may communicate with you about the Service and may, where permitted by law, send communications on behalf of partners without sharing personal information with such partners.

Social media
You may choose to connect Magnus to third-party social media services. This only happens if you explicitly choose to do so. When you share content to other platforms, that content becomes subject to the privacy policies of those platforms. Magnus does not sell your social media data.
